About

The Community Care Cooperative is built on the idea of mutualism - that communities are strongest when people support each other directly, without waiting for systems that weren't designed with them in mind.

What we believe

Charity creates dependency. Mutualism creates solidarity. We're not trying to fix people - we're trying to build structures where communities can take care of themselves and each other.

Every program under the Cooperative follows the same principle: identify a real gap, fill it with something practical and dignified, and do it in a way that respects the people it serves.

How we work

Small. Slow. Deliberate. We don't scale a program before it works. We don't start a new one before the current one is stable. Each program is built properly before the next one begins.

The Cooperative is run by a small core team - planning, building, and maintaining the programs and systems that everything runs on.

Australia-first

We start in Australia, with a particular focus on communities that are underserved by existing systems. Open to everyone, everywhere - but grounded here.
